Divergence makes security its top priority. Following audits by Chainsulting and PeckShield, it is open sourcing its code and hosting a bug bounty program on Immunefi. This bug bounty program is live before our V1 product launch so that vulnerabilities could be found earlier.

Bounties are necessary for testing and improving our application and smart contract security. Divergence values the work of skilled programmers who help protect and strengthen our ecosystem. Via Immunefi, Divergence will reward white hats who discover bugs in our protocol. Our bug bounty program covers a number of facets including smart contracts, the website and apps.

The threat level for these assets are classified on a 5-level scale from “None” to the highest level “Critical”. You can find more information and updates in the Immunefi documentation below:

At this time bounties for the “Critical” bugs are offered at USD $50,000 and the payouts are in USDC. After our V1 product launch, we will be increasing our bounties in line with the capital at stake at our protocol. We will also invite the community to help identify any possible exploits we may have missed.

This bounty program is not being enacted in response to any known vulnerabilities. We are proactively implementing measures to ensure safety and robustness of our protocol and protect user funds.
