Introducing Cassini — the Cronos Incentivised Testnet

Final Dry-Run before mainnet launch with USD 300,000 incentives for participants

Cassini, the Cronos Incentivized Testnet, is a competition aimed at stress testing Cronos in a practical, real-world setting before the mainnet launch on 19 October. Winning participants will share a prize pool of USD 300,000 in CRO rewards.

The competition is open to the general public, in particular DApp users and developers. Participants can choose to be a Tester or a Builder. Testers will be responsible for performing a series of tasks to interact with the network. Builders will be deploying their own DApps on the network and attract Testers to use their contracts, plus the same responsibilities as Testers.

The first Cronos testnet was launched back in July, and during the testnet, we have achieved great progress, with over 20 validators onboarded, 75 ERC-20 tokens minted, 65 applications on CRO EVM Fund, and more. We have made an upgrade in August to include the latest Cosmos SDK and IBC support, with consistent EVM behaviour and bug fixes.

Check out the details of the tasks here and register via the form below now!
