Sovereign Degens
With today’s high noise-to-signal ratio, projects need passionate ambassadors.
Ever since the early days of the team working on Sovereign Degens, it was a clear motivator to co-create with our community.
We have witnessed an industry-wide movement toward partnering with influencers to aggressively promote a project — who maybe not be aligned with our values and vision.
Simply put, we would rather put those funds toward the community, and rewarding our community’s passion along the way. Therefore, our ‘marketing’ budget will be largely put toward rewarding our Ambassador’s.
Few.
We want to reward quality over quantity. Thoughtful posts over shillery.
In order to do so, the best approach we’ve come up with is the following:
Quality × type of work = points
Eg. 2 × 2 = 4 points
Quality of work is categorized into 3 tiers:
- moderate (0.75x)
- average (1x)
- exceptional (2x)
Type of work is broken into 3 tiers:
- A (0.75x)
- B (1x)
- C (2x)
Example of ‘A’ is:
- Twitter engagement (limited to a max total of 3 tallied Twitter actions per day): Retweet, Like, Posting a link.
- Discord engagement (limited to a max total of 3 tallied Discord actions per day): Sharing helpful information, engaging in the Discord.
Example of ‘B’ is:
- Twitter engagement (limited to a max total of 3 tallied Twitter actions per day): thoughtful posts, replies, memes posted.
- Discord engagement (limited to a max total of 3 tallied Discord actions per day): thoughtful posts, replies, memes posted.
Example of ‘C’ is:
- Youtube video. Blog post. Twitter thread. (limited to a max total of 3 content pieces per day).
- Language translation. Special skill tasks like animation videos for twitter, etc.
- Introducing quality, warm leads for partnerships.

What is it in for me?
An Initial base pool of 8ETH.
Scenario: If there are 25 ambassadors, that’s 0.32ETH each* And if the pool rises to the max. cap of 16ETH, that’s 0.64ETH each* *Assuming each ambassador earns the same points
- Each 10% for genesis sale = 0.5ETH
- Discord channel KPI = 5k to unlock 1ETH, 10k to unlock 2ETH
- Twitter follower KPI = 1k to unlock 0.5ETH, 2k to unlock 1ETH
- For a max cap of 16ETH (~approx 2.5% if sell-out)
Why should I put in effort vs effortless sharing:
Well, that’s really up to you. When you put in effort two benefits occur:
1. Your work is calculated at a higher factor, resulting in higher points on the Ambassador leaderboard.
2. You are signalling to your network that you are a thought leader.
How are rewards shared?
Ambassador Points are tallied within 10 days of reaching the 100% fundraising milestone.
The points are representative of the Ambassador’s contribution to the overall campaign. Final points will be weighted for pool allocation.
Core team has final decision in points allocations.
